Fine Art Photography · Custom Steel Framing · Chicago
Museum-quality fine art photography prints, hand-finished in custom welded steel frames. Every piece is built to last — and built to move you.
Each frame is hand-welded from raw steel, ground smooth, and finished in matte black, raw brushed, or custom patina. Industrial strength meets gallery precision.
No standard sizes here. Every frame is cut and welded to your exact print dimensions — whether it's a 5×7 or a large-format 40×60.
Order your fine art print and steel frame together. Arrives ready to hang, archival-mounted behind UV-protective acrylic or museum glass.
Have a photo you want printed and framed? Bring your file or your idea — I'll handle the print, the frame, and the finish from start to finish.
The steel frame isn't just a border — it's part of the piece. Bold, permanent, and built by hand in Chicago. It changes the weight of a photograph in a room.
I'm Ian Peterson Garcia — Chicago-based fine art photographer, print maker, and fabricator operating as 3rdEyePR. My work is about seeing what's already there but often missed.
Photography has always been my way of paying attention — to light, to the city, to the quiet and the loud of everyday life. The third eye is that deeper layer of perception. It's what you see when you stop reacting and start looking.
Beyond the lens, I design and weld custom steel frames for fine art photography — a practice that grew out of wanting the presentation to match the intention of the image. Steel is honest. It holds its weight. It makes the image mean more.
Every print I sell is produced to archival standards. Every frame is made by hand. If you're looking for something built with intention, you're in the right place.
A collision of lens and hand — fine art photography meets intricate mixed-media drawing. Ian's photographs root each piece in a moment, a place, a breath of light. Michelle's layered, kaleidoscopic illustrations unravel into something living. Together, the work asks: what do we see when we really look?

Ian's photographs are acts of deep attention — the city, the light, the moment just before it shifts. His steel-framed prints bring an industrial permanence to fleeting instants, grounding the ephemeral in something you can touch and hold.
Michelle's work blooms across the surface in layered botanical and geometric forms — kaleidoscopic, hand-drawn, alive with color and rhythm. Her intricate illustrations feel simultaneously ancient and entirely new, like looking at the world through a fractured, beautiful lens.
